Last Week: 7-9
2011 overall: 28-20
What I saw coming:
1. The Buffalo Bills are ready to compete..
..and aren't going to let anyone, even the Patriots, stand in their way. I said the Bills would compete, and they exceded my expectations massively. Good show.0
2. The Houston Texans are ready to compete...
..But apparently not in the red zone. The Saints didn't have to worry too much unless the Texans were outside the 20.
3. The Chicago Bears are an unimpressive team.
The Bears just epically shot themselves in the foot the entire game.
What Surprised Me:
1. Detroit was completely outperformed in the first half
We all know the Vikings play all their football in the first half, but I didn't expect the beatdown the Lions took in the first half.
2. Indianapolis is still capable of competing...
...but winning is still a little out of the question. Curtis Painter is going to be the determining factor this season.
3. The ridiculous score in Cincinnati.
Running out of the end zone, really?
What Pissed Me Off:
Jacksonville jacksonvile jacksonville. Come on, guys. Poor game management, questionable play calling, fumbled snaps.. Felt like watching bad college ball.

NFL Draft Stock Watch Week 3
Stock Ups
Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa He played much better this week it's an improvement.
Xavier Rhodes, CB, Florda St Rhodes played very well against Oklahoma and I can't put a knock against him. He is an athletic freak and at 6ft 2 in he has great size he could easily be a top 5 pick in the 2013 draft.
Robert Griffin III, QB, Baylor RGIII 20 for freaking 22 and 265 yards. this man is great! 3 TD's 0 INT's and 8 rushes for 78 yards. Just look at those stats. Beautiful and ik stats are worthless but I love stats.
Lamichael James 12 CAR, 204 YDS, 3 TD just have to mention he look much better even though it was against a cupcake team.
Stock Downs
Saunders, OT, Florda ST. Diden't look as sharp as he should against Oklahoma. Got pushed off balance way to easily. And had poor tech it just a down day but this can defiantly hurt his stock a bit.
Lance Jones, QB, Oklahoma, This was his first real test this year and he didn't look to good when he was under pressure he force the ball. he didn't have nice zip and got picked off a few time this is not a good impression against a good defense.
Edwin Baker, HB, Mich St, 10 rushes for 28 yards and no TD's this is bad he has been bad all year sad.

Trayl's week 3 picks
(9-7)
Houston at New Orleans
I'm picking the saints, houston doesn't play all the quarters. Schaub is just average at best they have one receiving threat a par o-line and a halfback that was good cause of a fullback that is no longer there sure they are 0-2 but against such teams as the manningless colts that means nothing. Correct
NY Giants at Philadelphia
Philadelphia, Vick is ok'd to play And the giants are to hurt by injury's to stop any kind of a passing attack. Wrong
Jacksonville at Carolina
Jacksonville. Jones-drew has to be used or the panthers will win but with the injury's to carolina's LB core the rush attack should work well. Gabbys a stud to. Wrong
New England at Buffalo
New England. Buffalo. Is. Bad. This will beat them down they will realize they are bad and will lose. LOSE DAMN YOU. LOOOOOSSSSSSEEEEEEE
Miami at Cleveland
Cleveland. It's pretty much a coin toss head henne throws well tails browns win. Correct
San Francisco at Cincinnati
I'll pick Cincinnati cause I like Andy Dalton and A.J. Green over Alex Smith and Gore. Plus I think Their defense is better. Wrong
Denver at Tennessee
Tennessee. Giant Vagina. Look at cj2k go +.+
Detriot at Minnesota
Detroit is sooo good this year and sadly for Minnesota theirs 4 quarters not 2. 2x combo
Baltimore at St. Louis
Baltimore. The Rams look quite poopy and if Baltimore remembers that there playing a game they will likely win.Correct
NY Jets at Oakland
The Jets are just flat out better and Oakland betrayed me last week! Fuck oakland
Kansas City at San Diego
San Diego. Correct
Arizona at Seattle
Arizona. How bout the Seattle offense.(WRONG)
Atlanta at Tampa Bay
There we go the last two quarters of last weeks game is what they need to do, Atlanta is bad. Correct
Green Bay at Chicago Green Bay, Chicago is bad. Just bad, and over hyped.Correct
Pittsburgh at Indianapolis
No manning no win. Correct
Washington at Dallas
Nither. they will both all die in a plane crashDallasand there will be no survivors and I'll be happy.(correct

Shard's Week 3 Picks
Last Week: 11-5
2011 overall: 21-11
Houston at New Orleans:
As my upset of the week, I'm going with Houston. This is the moment for Houston to prove themselves as a team, and I think they have a decent shot of doing it. If Matt Schaub can play well at the Houston secondary doesn't give up too many big plays, they have a shot at winning this one.
REACTION: Same ol' Houston. They prove they can play with the big boys, but they can't win close games.
NY Giants at Philadelphia:
Philadelphia. Vick's cleared to play, and I'm not convinced by the win against St. Louis.
REACTION: Well, Philly is 1-2, and Vick broke his hand. Not a good sign.
Jacksonville at Carolina:
Jacksonville. With all the talk about Cam Newton, the Panthers are still 0-2. It'll be up to Blaine Gabbert, Jones-Drew, and the offense to keep Cam off the field, and up to the defense to not give up too many big plays.
REACTION: *SLAMS HEAD AGAINST WALL* I blame the Jags offensive line.
New England at Buffalo:
New England. Buffalo is having a breakout year, but this New England Team is still polished, primed, and ready to go. Look for Ryan Fitzpatrick to have a big game against a defense that gave up big time yards to Chad Henne.
REACTION: YAYYYYYYYY
Miami at Cleveland:
Miami. Cleveland's run defense is awful, and Daniel Thomas seems to be the answer at halfback for Miami.
REACTION: Hey, Daniel Thomas still had 100 total yards. *cough*
San Francisco at Cincinnati:
San Francisco. This is just a gut feeling mostly, not going to lie.
REACTION: Retards humping a doorknob anybody? Gut paid off here.
Denver at Tennessee:
Tennessee. Denver is terrible at defending the run, so even Chis Johnson and the sack full of solid gold bars he's been carrying should be able to pick up enough speed to find a hole.
REACTION: O_o okay. Denver played run defense, but still lost. Whatevs.
Detriot at Minnesota:
Detroit. Have you SEEN the Lions this year? Have you seen the Vikings? 'Nuff said.
REACTION: The Lions are 3-0, everybody. Minnesota: A football game consists of four 15 minute quarters, all of which count towards your final score.
Baltimore at St. Louis:
Baltimore. The Rams looked extremely mediocre on Monday.
REACTION: It ain't gettin' any better in St. Louis.
NY Jets at Oakland:
The Jets. This just isn't a good Oakland team.
REACTION: Guess the Jets were feeling lazy.
Kansas City at San Diego:
San Diego. Kansas City is on pace to win the race for Andrew Luck.
REACTION: Yuuup.
Arizona at Seattle:
Arizona. Seattle is trying just as hard as KC to win that race.
REACTION: I can't believe Seattle scored. At all.
Atlanta at Tampa Bay:
Atlanta. I'm not sure I understand what Tampa Bay has been up to this year. Fewer touches for Blount, barely beating a mediocre Vikings team.. I was a believer in the preseason, now, not so sure.
REACTION: Tampa stuck it out. The Saints look to have a nice hold on the NFC South.
Green Bay at Chicago:
Green Bay. The Packers have looked big time this year, finding a way to win with a huge lead, and when they were nice and behind.
REACTION: Ayup.
Pittsburgh at Indianapolis:
Pittsburgh. Not even a competition.
REACTION: I can't believe this was a competition. Dumbfounded.
Washington at Dallas:
..Washington. I can't believe I just picked Washington. If the Redskins can get after Tony Romo and aggravate that rib injury, they have a good shot at this.
REACTION: Eh, who knows sometimes.

Shard's Summary: WEEK 2
Picks: 11-5
2011 overall: 21-11
What I saw coming:
1. The Buffalo Bills are stronger than people give them credit for.
If the defense can keep up with the level that the offense has been playing at, they're in for a good season. They need to at the very least keep next week's game close, although I doubt they can win it.
2. The Saints defense doesn't screw up twice.
Just ask Jay Cutler.
3. The Lions
These Lions are going to have a big year.
What Surprised Me:
1. The Dolphins coaching staff
Reggie Bush..between the tackles? Talk about taking a talented player and throwing him into his worst situation. It's like asking Jay Cutler to throw the ball, or the Kansas City Chiefs to win a game.
2. The Jaguars offense
After properly managing last week's game, the offense gave up. Completely.
3. The Ravens
I'm not sure they were aware they were playing Tennessee. Not sure they were aware they were playing at all.
What Just Plain Pissed Me Off:
1. Reggie Bush's fantasy score
Seriously. Last time I trust the Dolphins coaching staff to do ANYTHING right. anything.

Our rules:
Each year, one person gets to cheat for extra draft picks.
The person who doesn't cheat gets to do the free agency that year.
Each year, we play the latest game in the schedule. The winner of that game wins the year.
If our teams meet in the playoffs, we play the playoffs match.
The standings are determined by the following criteria, in tiebreaker order:
Super Bowl Wins
Super Bowl Appearances
Win/Loss record against each other
Team total win/loss record
Coin flip (because at this point it's just insane anyway)
Standings after the end of Year 8: GEL leads by W/L tiebreaker

Week Two Pick's By TRayl
Week 2 Picks 20-12 All Time 11-5 this week
Kansas City at Detroit-Detroit is a far superior team now. K.C. looks lost on offense with out Wies coaching and the Defence didn't look good in that bout with a bad Buffalo team.(correct very correct)
Oakland at Buffalo This is a tough game to call it's a bad team that trys to win and a good team that trys to lose... I'm going to go with Oakland and all there greats playa's this time around cause i really think Buffalo sucks can't question there heart tho. (Buffalo still sucks)
Tampa Bay at Minnesota Tampa Bay is who I have in this game they have better corners and an overall better secondary than that of S.D. Secondary that held Nabb to less than 40 Yards offense. and a better offense than Minnesota. (correct due to a great comeback)
Chicago at New Orleans The bears are bad and just beat an over hyped Falcons team the Saints will beat them with there high scoring offense and aggressive defense.(CORRECT YEA)
Baltimore at Tennessee The Ravens, Tennessee Sucks and Cj2k has his money so he may not be a try hard anymore. (Cj2k ssucked but so did the ravens and there shody O-line Wrong)
Cleveland at Indianapolis No manning? then the browns will win. (correct)
Jacksonville at NY Jets J.E.T.S jets jets jets jets, that how i think it goes but anyways I think Espn put it best Revis on jason who? This is a bad jags team right now against a good jets team I will be shocked if the jags win tho grandly happy. (Correct how bout that mccown)
Seattle at Pittsburgh I want to say the Seahawks but there offense is so enemic... So i'll pick the damned Steelers... (how bout the seahawks offense 0 point correct)
Arizona at Washington Redskins suck arizona sucks a little less... I'm going to pick the Cards.
Green Bay at Carolina I like cam and he played a good game last week but I don't think he will do nearly as well against a don capers defense so I got the Packers here.(another good game by Cam but I'm correct)
Dallas at San Francisco Hell I don't know... I'll go with the Cowboys assuming Ted Ginn JR doesn't have another day. (correct)
San Diego at New England S.D. Had problems to put away Minnesota who looks like they might suck again this year and New England put up great number so no matter how much I hate the Pat's They will win here. (Correct)
Houston at Miami Houston looks legit this year especially on defense and Hennes soo inconsistent so Houston will win this game.(correct)
Cincinnati at Denver The bengles Will run it up the "vagina" that is the Broncos Defense. Hell Broncos couldn't beat a team that tried to lose they won't beat the Bengles lol 2-0 Bengles (Suprisingly good game but i was wrong)
Philadelphia at Atlanta Atlanta is overrated and I really like the dreamteam so i got the Eagles here. (and down goes vick)
St. Louis at NY Giants The Giants couldn't beat the fricken redskins surely the rams will win...(-.-)

Shard's Week 2 Picks
Let's predict some week 2 football, shall we?
Picks: 10-6
2011 overall: 10-6
Kansas City at Detroit:
I'm taking Detroit. Kansas City looked absolutely atrocious, and Detroit wil go as far as Matthew Stafford's health will take them.
REACTION: Todd Haley is on the hot seat.
Oakland at Buffalo:
Buffalo. I think the Raiders put on a lot weaker show than the win they got made it seem, and if Fitzpatrick can put on another show, the Raiders are in for a rough day.
REACTION: GO BILLS. Ryan Fitzpatrick is managing games very well this year.
Tampa Bay at Minnesota:
Tampa Bay. I think the Buc's loss was more of a statement of a strong Lions team than a weak Tampa Bay team. Minnesota isn't going to perform with another performance like that from McNabb.
REACTION: *phew* About time the Bucs showed up.
Chicago at New Orleans:
New Orleans. The Saints put up good numbers against the Packers, and the Bears aren't as strong of a team. Look for Roman Harper to make Jay Cutler look better than he is.
REACTION: The Bears are definitely overrated.
Baltimore at Tennessee:
Baltimore. Both of these teams experienced a rape in week 1. Tennessee was on the wrong end.
REACTION: I'm not entirely certain where the Ravens were today, but wherever it was wasn't a football field.
Cleveland at Indianapolis:
Cleveland. The Colts looked absolutely atrocious on offense in week 1. Your QB can't put up at total QBR rating of 2.2 if you can't run the football.
REACTION: Poor Colts.
Jacksonville at NY Jets:
The Jets in a close one, although I would be estatic if I was wrong.
REACTION: Well, I was right. Sorta. Depressing.
Seattle at Pittsburgh:
Pittsburgh. The Steelers still have sore naughty bits from their raping last week, and who better to take it out on than the mediocre Seahawks?
REACTION: Wasn't a happy Steelers team. They feel better now.
Arizona at Washington:
Arizona. The Redskins win was a weak Giants team, not a strong Washington team. I think Arizona will contend for their division.
REACTION: I. Can't. Believe. The. Redskins. Won. Again.
Green Bay at Carolina:
Green Bay. Cam Newton's not going to have a fantasy day against the Packer defense.
REACTION: Go Pack Go. Cam's still not looking awful though.
Dallas at San Francisco:
Dallas. As tough as that was to choke out.. The Niners almost lost to the Seahawks, the Cowboys almost beat the Jets. No brainer unfortunately. Of course...Tony Romo will probably choke in the fourth.
REACTION: Tony Romo really wanted to prove he could finish a game. Wouldn't it be ironic if it cost him the season? Either way, playing through a fractured rib is pretty studly.
San Diego at New England:
The Patriots. I still can't believe Tom Brady put up 517 yards.
REACTION: Yup. Same Patriots.
Houston at Miami:
Houston. The Texans are going to be coming in hot after decimating their divisional rivals.
REACTION: Yup. Same Dolphins.
Cincinnati at Denver:
Cincinnati. The Broncos looked like a team that had no idea what they were doing,
and the Bengals stuck to their guns and fought all four quarters last week.
REACTION: Hey. Hey everybody. Remember last year's Cedric Benson? Yeah. There he is again. Say hi everybody! Also: Tim Tebow was on the field as a slot receiver, but with 0 targets. Congrats, idiot Broncos fans. They played Tebow.
Philadelphia at Atlanta:
Philadelphia. The Falcons will rebound, but this isn't the game to do it.
REACTION: I'm surprised either QB is still -ALIVE-. Way to drop the ball, Eagles D. Oh, and speaking of dropping the ball, Jeremy Maclin is a sad panda.
St. Louis at NY Giants:
St. Louis. This still looks to be a very good Rams team, and I still can't believe the Giants lost to the Redskins.
REACTION: aaaand left hook.

2012 draft top 5's
These are my top 5's for the 2012 draft I will update this every week up untill the 2012 Draft
QB's
1.Andrew Luck, Stanford Seen as the next Peyton Manning Worth the 1st overall easily.
2.Robert Griffin 111, Baylor I love this kid, so much talent, great arm, good accuracy, and of course the duel threat possibility. One of my favs of this draft
3.Lance Jones, Oklahoma he is a strong-armed Big QB. He is sound in his drop back and working through his progressions to find an open receiver.
4. Nick Foles Arizona Great accuracy but needs to get better through his progressions as well as avoiding that check down route.
5. Kirk Cousins, Michigan State Good arm and good game manager but the lack of attempts he is getting is hurting his stock
(I hate Matt Barkley)(he will be bad just trust me)(USC)
HB
1.Trent Richardson Alabama Good power back. Keeps center of gravity and pad level low and does a decent job in the back field. Is by far the number one back in this years draft
2. Chris Polk Washinton Good back but his stock is hurt by the lack of elite defenses he has faced thus far. We will know more after the Nebraska game
3. LaMichael James Oregon Scat back that's great in the catching game but he has been posting bad bad number lately and that has hurt his stock he is gonna have to start posting some big games or else his stock will see more of a fall.
4. Cyrus Gray Texas A&m He has the ability to turn the corner on exterior runs and has a fabulous burst to get through the line and into the second level. A good Third round prospect with good production he could see the second round.
5. Edwin Baker Mich St Baker has averaged 5.8 yards per carry through the first two games of the season but they split carries so that hurts his yards and his draft stock.
WR
1. Justin Blackmon Oklahoma St. His production is blowing everyone away he shows great speed and the ability to go up and get the ball. I put him a head of Alshon cause he looks faster and has better production.
2. Alshon Jeffery South Carolina They just don't throw to him enough but he is a great talent and worth a top 10-15 pick
3. Mohamed Sanu Rutgers Has showed great route running, hands, and ability to make that spectacular catch. If he keeps up this level of production he could go in the middle of the first round or at the least the late first round.
4. Michel Floyd Notre dame he has been unstop able this year and is on the rise.
5.Juron Criner Arizona Great home run ability but takes a hit cause he as taken an injury.
OL
1.Matt Kalil OT USC All you need to know is this kid pushed Tyron smith to the right tackle, the 9th overall pick in last years draft
2.Johnathan Martin OT Stanford He dominated his division thus far in both run blocking and pass protection for Andrew Luck. Martin has the pass-protection tools to be a Pro Bowl tackle. Don't be surprised if Martin puts up a fight to be the first tackle taken.
3.Riley Reiff OT Iowa Very good but has not been tested much as of yet we will play as the season goes on.
4. Mike Brewer C Ohio St. Best center in the class, good anchor, very soild overall lineman.
5. Kelechi Osemele G Iowa St. Is currently at LT but projects better at guard. He currently has an injury but is playing through it and doing a damn good job I really like this kid.
DE
1. Jonathan Massaquoi Troy Lead the NCAA in sacks last year at 14.5 if we keep seeing production like Massaqoi will shoot up your draft boards i'm just predicting it now.
2. Brandon Jenkins Florda St. Great pass rusher could play 4-3 in the ground or a OLB in a 3-4 Defense. Brandon looks leaner and meaner this year i'm expecting big thing from him.
3. Quinton Coples North Carolina I'm lower on him cause of production if he steps it up ill shut up and shot him up my boards. Coples has a phenomenal skill set for the NFL. If Coples can come close to that level of production, he should be a top-five or ten pick in the up coming draft.
4. Donte Paige-Moss North Carolina The heavy rotation set is starting to sadly hurt his draft stock even though he is a great talent.
5. Devin Taylor South Carolina Taylor is fast and athletic and with clowny next to him drawing attention his production will rise.
DT
1. Jared Crick Nebraska He was able to keep up his production without Suh, even after slow start. If he can keep his progress going like the send of the season last year you will see him move up Draft Boards.
2. Jerel Worthy Mich St. Worthy has a good get-off and is disruptive and as a result he is starting to see alot more double teams if he is able to up his production even now he could see his stock rise, I see him as a bit better Corey Lugiet who has been doing pretty well this off-season in the NFL.
3. Marcus Forston Miami Great talent but got caught up in that scandal and is now missing playing time we will see what he does when he comes of the suspention
4. Kawann Short Purdue Kawann seems to be the next good D-lineman coming out of Purdue.
5. Brandon Thompson Clemson Brandon is a big plugger at 6 ft 2in and 310 pounds and could play 2 gap or NT in the Pros, we will have to see how he does this season with out Bowers there.
MLB (All first round talents)
1. Vontaze Burfict Arizona St. 4 Sacks, Plenty o tackles, great production And plays with heart and intensity I LOVE THIS kid if I had to relate him to a player I would say Ray Lewis who ever gets him. P.S. Great Size and speed and power he is a damned heat seeking missile!
2. Luke Kuechly Boston College a 17 tackle game an a 19 tackle game great coverage he is fantastic and has great instincts with Manti Te'o looking a bit lost lately I've moved this kid up.
3. Manti Te'o Notre Dame 133 tackles, 9.5 tackles for a loss, one sack and one forced fumble last year. Te'o has the size, speed and tackling technique to adapt quickly to the NFL but has looked a little lost thus far this season especially against a Duel threat quarterback.
4. Tank Carder TCU He could be a ILB or an OLB in the pros after looking a bit slow in his first start against Baylor he has finally started to look like he was projected to be.
5. Dont'a Hightower Alabama Dont'a Hightower is a physical, defender. He takes on and destroys O-linemen often without difficulty. The intelligent Hightower is the signal caller for the Crimson Tide and does a damn god job quarterbacking that defense.
OLB
1. Nigel Bradham Florda St. inconsistant but when he is on the ball he is the best one out of this year's crop that's why I put him atop my list.
2. Zach Brown North Carolina Probably the most consitantantly good player that plays with great power speed and intensity. I see this player going first out of any of these OLB even tho i dont think he has the most potential.
3. Sean Spence Miami Another Scandle recepient and is serving a sepention we will how he does afterwards.
4. Keenan Robinson Keenan is an underrated player in my book. He plays fast and physical and with a big season he could push into the late first early second round.
5. Travis Lewis Oklhoma Lewis is going to have a decline in production as a senior because he got injured this preseason. it will keep him out for a while when Lewis is back he needs to play lights-out.
CB
1. Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, Alabama Dre is an agressive defender with great size at 6 ft 3 and looks to be a top 10 pick in the up coming draft.
2. Cliff Harris,Oregon Cliff is a electric playmaker with 6 INT's last year and doubles as a talented punt returner. He needs to add some weight but does have great speed... Both on and off the field ;)
3. Stephon Gilmore,South Carolina He totaled three interceptions, three sacks, and six tackles for a loss while recording 79 tackles for the season. and is possibly the best run defending CB in this class.
4. Chase Minnifield,Virgina He broke out last year with 6 INTS and could see a drop in that number cause teams will now start to avoid him, he also has NFL bloodlines with I'm a big believer in.
5. Morris Claiborne,LSU He recorded five interceptions with 37 tackles and six passes defensed last year across from Patrick Peterson but his is not much worse than him and could easily see the first round with a good year.
S
1. Mark Barron SS Alabama He has done great job so far this season and looks like the best player on Alabama's defense.
2. Ray Ray Armstrong SS Miami The best safety in the class but I put him down cause of the suspension.
3. Kenny Tate Everything Maryland he is now at outside linebacker but is still the captain and signal. He is a very fast player and plays with great intensity and power.
4. Robert Lester S Alabama He is a ball hawk and it could be hard for him to duplicate production but if he does he could go if the first round.
5. Eddie Whitley, FS I'm putting him here cause he could vary well be the first Free safety off the board. 80 tackles, four tackles for a loss, six passes broken up and two interceptions in his first year as the starter we will see how he does this year.
QB's
1.Andrew Luck, Stanford Seen as the next Peyton Manning Worth the 1st overall easily.
2.Robert Griffin 111, Baylor I love this kid, so much talent, great arm, good accuracy, and of course the duel threat possibility. One of my favs of this draft

OLB

Shard's Summary: WEEK 1
Picks: 10-6
2011 overall: 10-6
What I Saw Coming:
1. The Colts are bad without Peyton Manning.
In the new total QBR system, Kerry Collins scored an illustrious...2.2. The Colts looked bumbling and confused, and the Texans looked almost as happy as a Broncos' fan in Tim Tebow's bedroom.
2. The Patriots aren't going anywhere.
Anyone who doubted the New England Patriots offense, well, the Patriots put up over 600 yards against a mediocre team.
3. The Pittsburgh Steelers have a headache
And the only cure...is a season removed from the Super Bowl.
What Surprised Me:
1. Cam Newton
The man looked surprisingly sharp in his NFL debut. You can't change my opinion in one game, but you can sure make me nervous.
2. The Buffalo Bills (or maybe the Chiefs?)
Either the Bills have figured out how to deploy their offense correctly, or the Chiefs are looking at a rough season on defense. Either way, the Chiefs had no spark on offense.
3. Atlanta has no idea what's going on
You're not going to sell me on the Bears with one win, but you can sure make me nervous about the 2011 Falcons.
What Just Plain Pissed Me Off:
The Broncos, the Raiders, and JEROME BOGER. We all remember Boger from did-not-complete-the-process fame last year, but tonight he was just plain obnoxious. Flags were being thrown every two or three plays. He also missed what's supposed to be the all-important leading with the helmet call.
That aside, the Broncos and the Raiders were playing like obnoxious bratty school children who just couldn't get their way. Champ Bailey fell over before the play...three times. Players were roughing each other for the ball instead of tackling each other, there was a fight every two or three plays...
Sloppy, classless, football.

That's all for week 1, until next time.

Madden 12 - Franchise Year 7
Madden NFL 12, Franchise Mode:
The setting is a small town in Iowa, and an even smaller town not so far away. The Cedar Falls Phoenix and the Gilbertville Evil, two small market NFL teams compete for the top of the AFC East. Owners, Tyler Rayl and James "Shard" Dewit are locked in furious battle, attempting to coach their team to victory...who will be the most sucessful owner after 30 years?
These have been our created teams since Madden 10, and I decided that I'd do a little piece on our franchise as we go on, enjoy!
Also: Shard is the Gilbertville Evil (GEL), Rayl is the Cedar Falls Phoenix (IAP)
Standings after the end of Year 7: GEL leads by W/L tiebreaker

Stock Up and Down, Week 1 and 2 of CFB
Double Stock Ups
Sanu WR, Rutgers-He has steped up every game so far. Making Great catches and showing good hands, if he keeps this up he will sneak into the first round.
Vontaze Burfict, LB, Arizona State- This kids all over the field 100% of the time, 4 Sacks, so explosive his high stock has gotten even higher.
Tyler Bray, QB, Tenn- This is for the 2013 draft but man this kid has shown a good arm, good accuracy, and ability to read defenses and has a 210+ QB rating. This kids gonna be a stud.
Single Stock Ups
Luke Kuechly, LB, Boston College Kuechly had 19 tackles with two tackles for a loss and one interception. He returned the interception 22 yards and was tackled a yard short of the end zone. This intelligent kids got good tackling technique and instincts were Fanfuckingtastic agianst Northwestern.
Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame he totaled 12 receptions for 154 yards and two touchdowns. Floyd (6-3, 228) Is doing considerably well taking into account the Hoorriibbllleee Quarterback play.
Robert Griffin III, QB, Baylor RGIII completed 21-of-27 passes for 359 yards and five touchdowns and he ran for 38 yards and even a reception. Looking like a Heisman candidate as well as a AWESOME pro prospect.
(Brandon wedden, Nick Foles, Justin Blackmon, Tank Carter, Manti Te'o,Coples Zack Brown.)
Stock Downs
Donte Paige-Moss DE/OLB, NC I'm being stingy here but He didn't look very good and was only playing on some plays, just was not playing like a top 20/15 pick.
LaMichael James, RB, Oregon James totaled 54 yards on 18 carries with one touchdown and also caught six receptions for 61 yards. Not great stats and didn't look good ither, and for another knock he got dinged up in the middle of the game. Right now he is looking like a 2nd rounder going into the Third round. (update did much better today doesn't make up for this game I'm looking for more consistent play)
Riley Reiff OT, Iowa Iowa as a whole look sluggish today betting beaten all day. Slow and bad. But I doubt this will hurt his Draft stock much at all.

Shard's Week 1 Picks
TIME FOR SOME NFL PICKIN' YEAHHHH
Last year: 139 and 99 (not sure if that was my numbers for the whole season, but I -think- it was. It was the last number I posted on CoS)
New Orleans @ Green Bay:
I'm not even going to bother explaining this. I was wrong. I picked New Orleans. Startin' off the year strong!
Atlanta @ Chicago:
I'm taking the Falcons. I'd make a case for the Bears having gotten worse this offseason. The only thing they really added was Gabe Carimi, and I'm not convinced he'll be that much of a differense maker. Atlanta, however, has another strong playmaker in Julio Jones.
REACTION: The Falcons gave this one away. I'm not so sure I believe in these Bears quite yet.
Cincinnati @ Cleveland:
Browns. Andy Dalton has potential but he's going to have a rough start. You won't hear me say this often, but I think the Browns offense is prepped for a good day.
REACTION: Cedric Benson looked much better than I ever expected him to look. Is it possible that he's better than he looked last year and it really was bad coaching last year? Remains to be seen.
Buffalo @ Kansas City:
Kansas City. I'm higher on the Chiefs than most people are, and I don't think Buffalo added enough to make a huge difference this year.
REACTION: Ryan Fitzpatrick looked extremely impressive, and the Chief's defense looks baaaad.
Philadelphia @ St. Louis:
Eagles. St. Louis is going to have a great year, and I have them winning their division...but not this game.
REACTION: This is the Eagles D we were all expecting.
Detroit @ Tampa Bay:
Tampa Bay. I think Josh Freeman can lead this offense past a rough defense, and I'm excited about what I've seen from Mason Foster and the Bucs' D-line. Josh Freeman is going to take some nasty hits though.
REACTION: Detroit's looking to extend their hot streak straight into these regular season games. Questionable coaching by Tampa Bay, you have to wonder why Graham and Freeman both had more rushing yards than Blount...
Tennessee @ Jacksonville:
Jags. Tennessee is prepped to take last in the division, and I've always been higher on Luke McCown than anyone I know.
REACTION: Luke McCown looked smart, but slightly unsettled. If he can do a better job of holding onto the football (2 fumbles, 0 INT), and the Jags can keep up the strong rushing attack and defense, they're in for a nice season. Tennessee looked just as bad as I thought they would, although the late rally had me concerned.
Pittsburgh @ Baltimore:
Ravens in a close one. The Steelers are queen bees of the super bowl hangover, and I don't think the fact that they lost is going to change that.
REACTION: Ouch. That wasn't close at all. Looks like the Steelers aren't just hung over, they're still drunk.
Indianapolis @ Houston:
The Texans. Pop quiz - How many times has Kerry Collins won a game against a Wade Phillips Defense? Hint: He's won as many times as I am a millionare.
REACTION: Told you so.
NY Giants @ Washington:
Giants. I still can't believe the Redskins, of all teams, declined to go after a vet QB this offseason.
REACTION: Ryan Kerrigan is a stud, the Redskins are going to become overrated, and never underestimate the New York Giants' ability to choke.
Seattle @ San Francisco:
49ers. If there's any year for Alex Smith to have a good year, it HAS to be this one. If Jim Harbaugh can't get him there, nobody can. Also, Frank Gore.
REACTION: Tedd Ginn is a beast. a BEAST. Gotta play all three phases, Seattle.
Minnesota @ San Diego:
San Diego. #1 offense, #1 defense, and they didn't make the playoffs? Insane. Vikings aren't looking up any time soon.
REACTION: This was a Minnesota team that looked a lot better than I expected. It'll be interesting to see what happened to Tolbert, and what that will do to San Diego's season moving forward.
Carolina @ Arizona:
Arizona. This team was much much better than it looked last year, and Kevin Kolb is going to prove it. I'm also a firm believer that Cam Newton is going to bust.
REACTION: One game doesn't prove much, but I'm man enough to admit that so far, I've been quite wrong about Cam Newton. Cardinals spread out the ball nicely, and Beanie Wells impressed.
Dallas @ NY Jets:
Jets. This team has been to the AFC championship game twice, and I see no reason they can't do it again. Dallas? Overrated.
REACTION: Dallas looked sharper than I expected...Until the fourth quarter, of course. Welcome back, Tony Romo. Jets D holds strong as usual.
New England @ Miami:
Patriots. Top three offense vs. an overall mediocre team.
REACTION: Tee hee.
Oakland @ Denver:
Oakland. Denver is another ESPN overrated team, but sadly, this should be a close one, seeing as Oakland went out of their way to give away their entire team this offseason.
REACTION: ...Uhhh. Hold on.
