Madden 12 - Franchise Year 7

Madden NFL 12, Franchise Mode:

The setting is a small town in Iowa, and an even smaller town not so far away. The Cedar Falls Phoenix and the Gilbertville Evil, two small market NFL teams compete for the top of the AFC East. Owners, Tyler Rayl and James "Shard" Dewit are locked in furious battle, attempting to coach their team to victory...who will be the most sucessful owner after 30 years?

These have been our created teams since Madden 10, and I decided that I'd do a little piece on our franchise as we go on, enjoy!

Also: Shard is the Gilbertville Evil (GEL), Rayl is the Cedar Falls Phoenix (IAP)

Our rules:

Each year, one person gets to cheat for extra draft picks.
The person who doesn't cheat gets to do the free agency that year.
Each year, we play the latest game in the schedule. The winner of that game wins the year.
If our teams meet in the playoffs, we play the playoffs match.

The standings are determined by the following criteria, in tiebreaker order:

Super Bowl Wins
Super Bowl Appearances
Win/Loss record against each other
Team total win/loss record
Coin flip (because at this point it's just insane anyway)

Standings after the end of Year 7: GEL leads by W/L tiebreaker

Super Bowl Victories: 2-2
Super Bowl Appearances: 3-3
W/L: 5-3 GEL
